Hudson’s for the Holidays, the debut holiday experience on Nick Gilbert Way, promises to be a festive celebration for all to enjoy.

The plaza transforms into a festive destination filled with custom holiday décor, from a giant illuminated bear and vibrant retail windows to sparkling lights and interactive installations. Enjoy holiday-themed programming throughout the season, including vendor carts featuring local artisans, live music performances and visits from beloved holiday characters. Adding to the nostalgic charm, The Bear at Hudson’s will be available for purchase—a reimagined keepsake of a cherished Detroit tradition.

    Classic holiday window displays are returning to Woodward Avenue. Enjoy charming installations at Hudson’s from the Detroit Historical Society, ALO and Tecovas, as well as stunning visual presentations from General Motors at Entrance One.

    MAILBOX

    Spend some time with Mrs. Claus and Santa’s elves on Nick Gilbert Way as they help children craft special letters to Santa. Once finished, drop your letter into the North Pole mailbox. Mrs. Claus and her trusty elves will make sure it reaches Santa in time.

    Indulge in delicious pastries, espresso and French-inspired hot chocolate, all crafted by the talented team at Un Deux Trois. Warm donuts and roasted nuts will also be served up by Forte Belanger and Woodward Farms.
