Nick Gilbert Way

Named in memory of Nick Gilbert, the late son of Dan Gilbert and Jennifer Gilbert, Nick Gilbert Way is an activated public space with annual programming. Featuring community-oriented design, the plaza encourages connection and serves as a natural gathering space with year-round events and installations.

Eat + Drink

Dining at Hudson’s will offer everything from casual light bites and cocktails to sit-down meals with a view. Food and drink options include two concepts inside the anticipated Detroit EDITION as well as a rooftop restaurant atop the 12-story Hudson's building. In Nick Gilbert Way, Un Deux Trois will be serving espresso drinks, coffee and local pastries.

Entrance One

Entrance One is General Motors’ new public lobby and showcase for their products, technology and innovation. This inviting, street‑level space is designed to welcome the public in to experience their vehicles firsthand and create opportunities for community engagement. The name pays tribute to the site’s heritage, honoring the original main employee entrance of the J.L. Hudson Department Store. Located at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Nick Gilbert Way, Entrance One serves as a vibrant connection point between GM, Detroiters and the surrounding community.
