Entrance One

By General Motors

General Motors' new lobby and public showroom, named “Entrance One," is located at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Nick Gilbert Way. The name is a tribute to Detroit’s history, inspired by the original “Entrance One” at the J.L. Hudson Department Store—once the main entrance for employees on Farmer Street. The opening of Hudson’s Detroit represents GM’s return to Woodward Avenue, ushering in a new era with its future headquarters in the heart of downtown.
